Wide Nose

Slimming wide dorsum of the bridge of the nose; improving the balance of the nose with other facial features

What is Wide Nose Bridge?

Creating a slim and refined nose, with a wide nose bridge

A wide nose has a wide nose bridge and/or a wide nasal bone, this can results in a dull look, and makes your high nose bridge look not sharp. During a wide nose bridge surgery, a vertical incision is made in both sides of the nasal bone and the bone is being pushed toward the center of the nose, this will narrow the shape of the bone. This procedures is one of the best to improve the shape of your nose and to create satisfactory results.

The width of the nasal base should be the same as the width between eyes and the length from the outer corner of the eye to the ear.
The width of the top of your nose is proportionally good-balanced when it reaches 70~80% of the width of the nasal base.

Procedure of the Operation

A wide nose cannot simply be corrected by raising the nose bridge. A wide nasal bone doesn’t mean that the bone is thick.
The nasal bone is fragile, thus excessive grinding of the bone can create holes in the bone and slight grinding wouldn’t affect it at all. Therefore, for the successful correction of a wide nose, nasal osteotomy is required.
